- Description: This activity-based course gives students an introduction to the major figures and events of Ancient Greece and Rome and highlights how Ancient Greece and Rome influenced the United States. At the conclusion of each semester, students participate in Defense Day by presenting their work and responding to questions. Writing instruction is not emphasized (please see Writing I: Grammar or Writing II: Logic for middle school writing instruction).
