Middle School History: Ancient Greece and Rome

    • $80 per student per month (10 months, August through May)
  • Location: Signal Mountain, Tennessee
  • Credit: 1 full credit of middle school history
  • Grades: 6th through 8th grades; interested families with rising 5th or 9th grade students should contact the tutor
  • Prerequisites: None
  • Description: This activity-based course gives students an introduction to the major figures and events of Ancient Greece and Rome and highlights how Ancient Greece and Rome influenced the United States. Students participate in Defense Day in December and May by exhibiting their work. Writing instruction is not emphasized (please see Writing I: Grammar or Writing II: Progymnasmata for middle school writing instruction).
