To apply, please make sure you are familiar – and in general agreement – with the information and ideas on the Scriptorium website. If so, please contact Grace Hughbanks at tutorATscriptoriumhallDOTcom <= Please replace AT and DOT with the correct symbols. In your email, please include:

  1. How many students would be taking courses, and which courses you are interested in; please specify:
    • Geometry ONLY
    • Humane Letters and/or Writing ONLY
    • Geometry AND Humane Letters and/or Writing
  2. How you heard about Scriptorium, especially if you have heard about us through a current or past Scriptorium family
  3. A reason why you believe Scriptorium would be a good fit for your family, or something about Scriptorium that you would value most
  4. What part of the Chattanooga area you are from

You will then receive your application(s) and the mailing address(es) for your application fees. Note that if you are taking both Geometry and a Humane Letters/Writing course, you will complete one application for Geometry and one application for the Humane Letters/Writing course. Please complete the application(s) and email or send a hard copy of it to the respective tutor, and mail your application fee(s) to the respective tutor(s). One application form must be completed for each student from a family.

  • Application fees for GEOMETRY must be made payable to Linda Neuhoff.
  • Application fees for HUMANE LETTERS and WRITING courses must be made payable to Grace Hughbanks.

When your application has been received, you will receive your monthly or semester tuition total with all relevant discounts applied. The first installment of your tuition is due immediately upon acceptance.

  • Tuition for GEOMETRY must be made payable to Linda Neuhoff.
  • Tuition for HUMANE LETTERS and WRITING courses must be made payable to Grace Hughbanks.
